Snoring can be a symptom of obstruction of the airways, blocking the ability to breathe properly at night. This means snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea can result in a decrease in oxygen getting to the brain during sleep. This can result in the snorer feeling perpetually tired, grumpy and leading to that person tending to fall asleep during the day, and possibly being more prone to illness or accident.
Dr Miller has extensive experience in the treatment of people who snore or suffer from obstructive sleep apnoea which typically will involve the construction of an oral appliance specifically tailored to each patient to manage and treat their particular condition.
The treatments that Dr Miller provides, can greatly improve the quality of sleep, leaving a patient feeling less tired during the day, and better able to share a room with a partner at night.
Dr Miller also constructs appliances for TMJ (jaw joint) disorders to help alleviate the symptoms of headache, backache and tooth grinding.
"I would like to tell you that the new anti-snoring guard you made for me has been a complete success. My wife says I no longer snore at all and I am less tired during the day and am much more alert than before. Thank you once again for all your care and advice."
